One-off metalwork, measured on site and drawn before it is cut.
Custom fabrication covers everything that cannot be bought off a shelf: a bracket to mount equipment that was never designed to fit together, a frame sized to a specific gap in a building, a guard around a hazard, a replacement part that is no longer manufactured.
The process is the same every time — measure on site, draw it in CAD, confirm the drawing with you, then cut and weld to the drawing. That sequence is what stops expensive steel becoming an expensive mistake.
Measured on site, not estimated
Fabrication that has to fit an existing structure is measured in place, including out-of-square and out-of-level conditions that older farm and industrial buildings always have. A part built to nominal dimensions will not fit a real building.
Where tolerances are tight, adjustment is built into the design — slotted holes, bolt-on feet, field-trim allowances — so installation day is not a fight.
Material and finish decisions
Grade, section size and coating are chosen for the environment. Something that lives outdoors year-round in a livestock environment needs a very different specification to an indoor machine guard.
Finish options run from mill finish and paint-ready preparation to primed, painted or supplied ready for galvanising, and are agreed as part of the quote.

On site versus shop work
Fitting, trimming and final welding happen at your location, so the finished item is installed and working before the rig leaves. Sub-assemblies are often prefabricated and brought out ready to install to keep on-site time short.
Complex assemblies with many repeat parts are more accurately built with shop fixturing. In those cases the parts are fabricated first and only the installation happens on site — a hybrid approach that keeps both the accuracy and the convenience.
